Cultural Education Assistance

Overview
Cultural Education Assistance supports participation in instructional programs and activities that enhance knowledge, appreciation, and use of traditional Huna cultural practices and art forms.

The HHF Board of Trustees awards Cultural Education grants following these guidelines:
  • Awards up to $300 may be made for course materials and tuition
  • An individual may receive only two Cultural Assistance grants during a five-year period

Eligibility
To receive Cultural Education Assistance, you must:
  • Be a Huna Totem Corporation Shareholder or Descendant
  • Be accepted into a program to learn an Art Form which is related to the traditional culture of the Huna people
Note: Family members may not be paid for instructing or learning from other family members except in an open group instructional situation
